Porcini Bisque

With an earthy and decadent combination of three different types of mushrooms, the intense flavoring of this velvety bisque embodies the rich and woodsy undertones of the delicate mushroom. An elegant soup to serve as an appetizer before your holiday meal or as a sauce for a roast. 

This soup pairs very well with a side of sautéed garlic, red wine and wild mushrooms or a green salad with sherry vinaigrette.

Ingredients 

White mushrooms, chicken stock, porcini mushrooms, sherry, celery, leeks, shallots, carrots, onions, baby bella mushrooms, olive oil, garlic, thyme, tomato paste, chicken bouillon, truffle zest, black pepper.

Garnishing options

Parmesan crisps, toasted hazelnuts or Italian parsley.

Helpful Tips

Add light cream, chicken or vegetable broth if a thinner soup is desired. This is a very rich soup which can be served as an appetizer in mini espresso cups.

Freezing Instructions

 This soup is best enjoyed fresh however it will freeze well up to 3 to 4 months.
